Our story
Bhawal Steel Tube Industries started in 1983 as a family business with a simple idea: supply steel that is exactly what the customer ordered, and deliver it when we said we would.
More than forty years later, that is still how we work. What began as a single steel business has grown into the BSTI Group — three family-owned companies that share the same standards. Bhawal Steel Tube Industries in Hyderabad, Bombay Metal India in Secunderabad and Apex Steel in Mumbai together stock, process and distribute stainless steel and nickel alloys to customers across India and overseas.
Our home is Hyderabad, India's bulk-drug capital. Much of our work is with pharmaceutical, API and chemical plants, where the right grade and clean, traceable material matter — and where one wrong pipe or a late delivery can hold up a whole production line. Customers such as Aurobindo, Dr. Reddy's, Hetero, MSN and SMS Pharmaceuticals have trusted us with the pipes, sheets, flanges and fittings that keep their plants running.
We have also grown with the industries around them — chemical and fertiliser plants, power and process industries, cement makers, food processors, fabricators and architects — supplying everything from 316L process pipe to decorative designer sheets.

What we do
We are more than a trader. From the mill to your site, we take care of the parts of the supply chain that decide whether material arrives right.

We buy from leading mills — Jindal, SAIL, POSCO, POSCO Thainox, Outokumpu and Aperam — so you know where your steel comes from.
Stock
Ready stock of pipes, tubes, sheets, coils, bars, flanges and fittings in Hyderabad and Mumbai, so standard sizes ship quickly.
Process
Coils and sheets cut to the width and length you need, and pipes supplied in the lengths your project calls for.
Test
Hydro, spectro, eddy current and PMI testing, with third-party inspection by approved agencies when you need it.
Deliver
Packed and dispatched to your site anywhere in India, or overseas, with clear updates along the way.
