Precipitation-hardening (PH) stainless steels combine the corrosion resistance of stainless with strength close to alloy steels. After a simple ageing treatment they reach very high strength, which makes them a standard choice for aircraft structures, actuators, valves and defence hardware.
We supply 17-4PH, 15-5PH, 13-8Mo and 17-7PH to AMS and ASTM specifications in bar, plate, sheet, strip and forgings — in the solution-annealed condition or aged to the condition your drawing calls for.
Aerospace and defence orders usually come with strict certification and traceability requirements. Send us your specification and we will confirm availability, condition and documentation before we quote.
