When a part must carry very high loads, aerospace and defence engineers turn to low-alloy and maraging steels. AISI 4340 and 300M are the classic grades for landing gear, shafts and gears, while maraging steels reach ultra-high strength with excellent toughness after a simple ageing treatment.
We supply 4340, 300M and maraging 250 and 300 to AMS specifications, in air-melt and vacuum-remelted (VAR) qualities, as bar, plate, forgings and tube.
Send us the grade, specification, size and heat-treatment condition you need, and we will confirm availability and documentation before quoting.
